Origin of billiards

Finding the origin of billiards as well as the father of billiards is certainly not an easy task. We can only rely on the works and stories left behind from the past to form words.

For example, in a passage in the Odyssey, the great Homer (also buried in mythology) mentions the skit game (about three thousand years ago); and we can consider pins to be the ancestors of billiards. Or in some reliefs shown through the hands of Athenian artisans, we can see young people, competing for a marble ball, holding long curved sticks in their hands. Thereby, it partly reflects the origin of billiards.

1429 was the year Billiards was founded, although there are still many discussions surrounding it. A book appeared in Paris by an unknown author titled “Journal d’un mindset de Paris” in which it explained how to play the game of billiards. However, there is much other evidence that makes people believe that the origin of billiards is due to a man named Enrico Deligne.

Even in the 15th century, information about the origin of billiards tells us more precisely that a man Francois Villon, when he died in 1489, left his heirs in his will “a fruit”. billiards in which the ball is pushed”. To prove that billiards was born in the 14th century.
